Don't know why the didn't name them five toes. I did indeed purchase a pair of Vibram Five Fingers. They are quite fun and enjoyable to wear. Everyone asks me, "Are they comfortable?" That question is a mixed bag. It's not comfortable if your looking for lots of cushion that traditional shoes provide. It is comfortable if you like walking barefoot because that is exactly what it feels like!
I got the KSO's in a size 48. I'm kind of wishing I got the 47 but I have an abnormally large big toe so it was a toss up. I didn't want to risk discomfort. What I have noticed is that in water, the shoes become much more loose. If you planned to only use them as a water shoe then you might need a more snug fit.
